Why We Love It:
Along with Rioja and Priorat, Ribera del Duero has become home to some of Spain’s most acclaimed, cellar-worthy and expensive red wines. There is little doubt that the best of Ribera del Duero is right up there with the very best wines of Spain, and indeed the world. It has become increasingly difficult to source accessible and affordable everyday reds from this outstanding Spanish region. So when we come upon such a powerful and well-made red, packed full of dark cherry and ripe berry flavour at such an eminently reasonable price, it gets our juices flowing! Harvested by hand, double sorted (once in the vineyard and again in the cellar), and 100% destemmed, this is bright, approachable and delicious Ribera del Duero at it’s best.
