Story:
Chateau Beaulieu is a 40 acre estate in the Cotes de Bourg region of Bordeaux, about 20 north and west of the City of Bordeaux itself. This area is best known for red wines made predominantly from Merlot. Chateau Beaulieu has a long and rich history as an important address is this region, dating back to the end of the 18th century. The vineyards are planted on clay-limestone slopes and a variety of exposures all contributing to complex and textured wines, widely recognized as some of the best of the Cotes de Bourg.
