“This 2019 award-winnery has a very deep intense purple colour with an attractive, complex, spicy, intense, ripe, black cherry, Damson plum nose with some mineral notes. Dry, medium-bodied and well-structured, the rich, tangy, fruit-driven, plum-cherry-cassis have some herbal notes and a touch of red licorice and sandalwood on the lingering, bright, somewhat grippy finish. Unoaked and ready to drink, it gets a solid 89 points… Superb value.”
