Lopez de Heredia masterfully marries the finest grapes from very old single vineyards with the most traditional and effective methods of aging – a set of expertise acquired over generations of this family winery. The whites of Lopez de Heredia are amongst the most sought after and collectible wines in our entire portfolio. Traditional and distinctive, the 2010 vintage of Tondonia is produced from a very good vintage, where harvest took place just slightly later than usual, between September 15th and 22nd.

Recipes & Food Pairings:
A blend of 90% Viura and 10% Malvasia, the Tondonia white vineyards average about 60 years of age, yielding fragrant, intense and complex wines. Lemon, apple, beeswax and Earl Grey tea flavours and aromas take centre stage in this maturing white, making it a perfect pairing for chicken, rice and pork dishes.
