Rave Review: VinousMedia.com on 2011 Muscat Grand Cru Goldert Clos Saint Imer Cuvée de la Chapelle – 91 to 93 Points!
“Bright medium-deep straw-yellow. Intensely muscat on the nose (you could never mistake this for any other variety when tasting blind), delivering a smorgasbord of rose petal, tarragon, citrus peel and grapefruit aromas that are clean and precise; it’s clear that there was little or no noble rot present in this vintage. Very fresh and clean on the palate, with a definite sweetness to the tangerine and grapefruit flavors, but kept lively by zippy acidity. Outstanding muscat: try it with a goat cheese and chive omelet or with a ginger- and citrus-accented salmon filet.”
