Rave Review: VinousMedia.com on 2010 Muscat Grand Cru Goldert Clos Saint Imer Cuvée de la Chapelle – 92 Points!
“Bright deep yellow with a reddish tinge; this looks like a sweet wine. Exotic aromas of ripe apricot, canned peach and roasted pineapple on the knockout nose, complicated by spicy botrytis. Fresh and lively on the palate, lifted at the back by lemon, ripe tropical fruit and rose jelly flavors. The long, suave finish features a noticeable peppery zing, along with plenty of acidity. You can’t tell this has 18 grams of residual sugar thanks to its 8 g/l of acidity. About 30% of the grapes were affected by noble rot and it’s pretty obvious.”
