Rave Review: Sarah Marsh, MW on 2010 Chanson Beaune 1er Cru “Bressandes” – 18.5 / 20 Points!

WINERY PROFILE | Domaine Chanson

“East exposition and the same altitude as Champimonts. As this is also in a valley, this has north wind too. The Bressandes is rocky and sandy with high limestone and low clay content, because they are in the bottom of the valley. The MLF has not started yet. This has vibrant and vivid aroma; essence of small, tight, pure berry fruit. There is thickness to the texture and intensity. It has exuberance and purity. It also has plenty of muscle, but smoothly honed and beautifully balanced with the ripe fruit. Good assertive finish. I like the balance here. Fine++. From 2017”
