[ Tasting Notes: ]

“The Lake County AVA is the smallest wine-producing region on California’s North Coast. This warm inland district is north of Napa and east of Mendocino County. The Shannon Ridge Cabernet offers deeply satisfying aromas of cassis, pencil lead, violets and ripe fruit. Excellent freshness and balance on the palate with just an edge of sweetness to the juicy, ripe fruit. Spice accents and smooth tannins round out a truly tasty wine.”

LCBO Vintages Tasting Panel

“Harvested in October, grapes were picked at the peak of henolic ripeness and aged on French and American oak for 18 months. Crafted from our Vigilance Vineyards in the Red Hills of Lake County to create a multi-layered, well balanced wine. Notes of black cherry and ripe current; earthy, with hints of coffee bean and tobacco. Silky and lush with excellent layers, richness and a long, satisfying finish.
